FAQ
What everyone asks
Which businesses are required to comply with the AI Act?
All businesses operating in the EU that use AI systems, regardless of size. SMEs using general-purpose tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) fall into the low or medium risk category, with documentation and training requirements.
What penalties does the Regulation provide for?
Fines range from €7.5 million (or 1.5% of global turnover) for minor infringements up to €35 million (or 7% of turnover) for serious ones. For SMEs, authorities must take the company's economic capacity into account.
Is staff training already mandatory?
Yes. Since 2 February 2025, businesses are required to ensure all staff using AI systems have a sufficient level of awareness of these tools' capabilities, limitations and risks.
Does the service cover high-risk AI systems?
The AI Act Express service covers obligations for low and medium risk systems. High-risk systems require a more detailed conformity assessment process that we manage separately.
How much does the service cost?
The price is fixed and agreed in writing before we start. It varies according to the number of AI systems and team size. Request information and we'll send a quote within 24 hours.
